    The website for the document you provided could benefit from stronger implementation of design principles such as Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity to enhance its usability and visual appeal. First, Contrast could be improved by using more distinct color differences between text, headings, and background to guide users' attention and improve readability. For instance, lighter text on a light background can be difficult to read, and higher contrast would make the content more accessible. Repetition of design elements like consistent fonts, colors, and button styles across the site would help users navigate more intuitively and create a cohesive look. Alignment appears to be somewhat inconsistent, as text and images are occasionally misaligned or do not follow a clear grid, which can make the site feel cluttered and harder to follow. Clearer alignment of elements would lead to a more professional and organized layout. Finally, Proximity could be better utilized by grouping related information together in visually separated blocks or sections to allow users to easily digest content and understand its organization. Overall, the site’s design would benefit from a more structured layout and clearer visual hierarchy to improve user experience and engagement.

           I've been using Microsoft programs, specifically Word, for the vast majority of my schooling. I am even certified in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. While Microsoft programs aren't the easiest ones on the market, I've found that they offer the best balance of simplicity and opportunity. Blog Post 1

      It is my hope that through this class I will be able to establish a strong foundation for my future in teaching. I have seen a few new teachers, namely my mother when she started teaching, struggle to gain footing. I'm hoping that I can minimize that struggle as much as possible for myself, even though I know that it is inevitable. At least through taking this class and classes like it I'm giving myself a fighting chance with as much knowledge as possible behind me.      Due to the lockdown, all of my schooling over the past five or so years has been inseparable from technology of all forms. Online work through Teams and Google Classroom was unavoidable in 2020, and a lot of teachers never stopped using those platforms, especially to help out students who have missed classes.
