It is my hope that through this class I will be able to establish a strong foundation for my future in teaching. I have seen a few new teachers, namely my mother when she started teaching, struggle to gain footing. I'm hoping that I can minimize that struggle as much as possible for myself, even though I know that it is inevitable. At least through taking this class and classes like it I'm giving myself a fighting chance with as much knowledge as possible behind me. Due to the lockdown, all of my schooling over the past five or so years has been inseparable from technology of all forms. Online work through Teams and Google Classroom was unavoidable in 2020, and a lot of teachers never stopped using those platforms, especially to help out students who have missed classes.
